The 7th annual Kahiau Canoe Race will be pre-season teaser. The 2011 race was a success with a many crews participating and we're predicting the same in 2012. Our goal is to have at least 75 crews. The Long Course will start in Ke'ehi Lagoon, turn on the Honolulu Harbor buoy and finish back into Ke'ehi Lagoon. The Short Course will start in Ke'ehi Lagoon, and will continue to a buoy placed outside of Sand Island and back into Ke'ehi Lagoon (weather permitting for both courses). The short course will be for the womens and mixed crews. Don't forget the "'Ono" food Keahiakahoe is know for. Let’s hope for some bumps and challenging conditions.
